International Leadership Workshop for Rural Youth

Every two years, the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) organises the International Leadership Workshop for Rural Youth

The International Workshop brings together leaders of rural youth associations from all around the world at regular intervals to provide them with theoretical support and ideas for practical measures to implement rural youth work. As a result of the workshops, count-less important ideas for initiatives to improve rural youth work have been put into practice over the past few decades. The participants develop strategies and concepts for practical implementation to motivate young people in rural areas, to take responsibility for their own future.

The internship programme - Educational cooperation between Germany and abroad

The internship programme of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) supports future professionals and managers from the agricultural sector from Central and Eastern Europe (Russian Federation, Ukraine, Republic of Belarus) and Central Asia (Kazakhstan) through practical training in the Federal Republic of Germany.

It also facilitates future German specialists and executives to make internships in the agricultural sector in Europe and overseas, as well as in Japan.
